Charlton School

Return to full school uniform

The weather forecast next week looks to be slightly cooler, with temperatures returning to around our usual summer average

Friday 23rd June,

Dear Parent / Carer,

The weather forecast next week looks to be slightly cooler, with temperatures returning to around our usual summer average. Please can all students return to wearing full school uniform including ties and blazers. A quick reminder that other sweatshirts or hoodies should not be worn in school at any time.

Earlier this week our Ofsted report was published on their own website. If you have not had the opportunity to read it yet, as well as on our own website, it can now be found here: https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/provider/23/142821

Please can I give advanced notice that the National Education Union have proposed two further strike days on the 5th and 7th July. If these do go ahead it will not be possible to open the school fully and we will put similar procedures in place as we have done for the previous strike days. We have made a decision that the after school Charltonbury event scheduled for the 7th July will continue to take place even if the strike action does go ahead.

Yours faithfully,

Mr A McNaughton

Principal
