Critical Worker & Vulnerable Children Arrangements UPDATE
In light of tonight’s announcement we will be reverting to a skeleton staffing structure in school, to allow staff to work from home on setting and delivering remote learning.
Dear Parents and Carers,
In light of tonight’s announcement we will be reverting to a skeleton staffing structure in school, to allow staff to work from home on setting and delivering remote learning.
This means staff in school will be operating on a rota basis. The staff in school will only be supervising students to complete the school work set online. We will look to create new bubbles in school, these may contain mixed year groups.
With this in mind, I would urge you to only send your child to school if they are vulnerable, or if by not sending them to school you would be unable to carry out your critical work.
Please at you earliest convenience confirm your intention to continue to send your child to school or not by emailing keyworker@charlton.uk.com
For tomorrow there will be food available from the canteen, it is possible that this may not continue as the catering contractor furloughed staff during the first lockdown. We will make arrangements to ensure students entitled to free school meals will receive a lunch throughout the lockdown in school.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards
Mr McNaughton
