Welcome back! I hope you were able to have a good break over Christmas and enjoyed time with your family and friends.

Welcome back! I hope you were able to have a good break over Christmas and enjoyed time with your family and friends.

Please join me in welcoming several new colleagues who have started with us this term or will start in the coming weeks. Please make them feel very welcome.

Mrs Arnold – Computer Science Teacher for 1 term until Easter
Mr McGinley – Head of Computer Science (starting in Summer Term)
Miss Bingham – History Teacher, covering Mrs Groves’ maternity leave

In addition to the new staff, Mrs Hall (English Teacher) is taking over as Head of Year 7 from Mr Redman who left at Christmas.

This week we will be talking to all students, through assemblies, and reminding them of the high expectations we have of them regarding their behaviour and the positive attitude we expect them to always show towards their schoolwork. We will be stressing to students the importance of them establishing the personal positive habits that will help a student excel in school.

We make no apologies for the high standards we expect and set for our students and are committed as a school to ensure all students embody our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience at all times. Please take time to reinforce these expectations with your child at home.
