Postponement of Year 7 Residential

It is regret that through discussion with the Health Protection Hub a decision has been made that it is not possible to continue with the Pioneer Centre residential trip for Year 7, whilst we have an increase in coronavirus cases within the school community.

Dear Parent/Carer,

Postponement of Year 7 Residential – Wednesday 29^th September to Friday 1^st October

Cases have risen in Year 7 to the point where contingency measures are being employed, for example the use of face coverings in school, and one of the recommendations from the Health Protection Hub is the stopping of all residential trips.

The Pioneer Centre have agreed for us to defer the trip to later in the year and we will now work with them to book a suitable date. All students who have booked and paid for the trip will be transferred to the new dates once this is confirmed.

We apologise for the disappointment and any inconvenience this may cause, but please understand this decision has been made to ensure the ongoing safety of our students and staff.
