I hope you and your families are well in these very difficult and challenging times.
Let me start by saying a huge thank you for supporting students to access their home learning through Doddle. The work produced is being celebrated in school and home learning commendations are being sent by Heads of Year to congratulate students who have been nominated by their teachers. Home learning will ensure that on our return to school students are ready for their next steps.
You may be aware that as well as the work set on Doddle, subject teachers are communicating with students through their school email accounts to support them with home learning. Messages are also being communicated to students from Heads of Year, Pastoral Managers and our Emotional Health and Wellbeing Team. It is therefore important that students can access the information sent by email.

We have noticed that not all students are checking their emails and are therefore missing out on support and guidance. Please can you work with your child to ensure they have access to their school email account and are checking notifications regularly, to make sure they are not missing messages from school.

Please see instructions on the following pages which will enable students to access Office 365 from home. The software can be accessed through a home computer, laptop, tablet or mobile device. As well as being able to access their school emails through Outlook, they will also have the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Excel and other software for free. Students each have 5 installations of Office 365 so can download on several different devices.

This is also a good opportunity to remind you of the additional teaching resources and weblinks to support students with their wider learning and wellbeing, which can be found on the study zone link on our website http://www.charlton.uk.com/quick-links/students/study-zone. There is also support on this page about how to access Office 365 from a mobile device. If children are unsure of their passwords for any services please email helpme@charlton.uk.com.
