Dear Parent/Carer

Tomorrow we will be distributing a new batch of Covid-19 home self-test boxes to all students, please collect them from your child when they return home.  This will allow students to test twice weekly up to and including half-term.  Please continue to use up any stock of test kits in your home prior to using the new tests.  The latest supply of tests we have received are from a company called Flowflex and are nasal tests only.

Can I also take this opportunity to remind parents of our uniform expectation in regard to shoes and blazers.  Blazers must be worn at all times around the school, they can be removed in lessons with permission from the teacher on warmer days.  Whilst our uniform list contains an optional jumper, this cannot be used as a substitute for a blazer.  The jumper must be worn under the blazer and if a student becomes too warm during the day, they should remove the jumper and continue to wear their blazer.

It is also our expectation that all students attend school in shoes and not trainers.  Students should bring trainers to school for PE lessons or if they wish to change into them to play sport at break and lunch.  Further details of appropriate school shoes can be found on our school website http://charlton.uk.com/parent-student-information/uniform
