Early School Closure - Wednesday 18th March
Further to my letter prior to half-term, informing you of the sad loss of our much-loved colleague, Janice McLellan, I am writing to inform you of an early school closure to allow colleagues to attend the funeral.
Dear Parents/Carers
Further to my letter prior to half-term, informing you of the sad loss of our much-loved colleague, Janice McLellan, I am writing to inform you of an early school closure to allow colleagues to attend the funeral.
With permission of the Governing Body and the Learning Community Trust, on Wednesday 18th March, school will close at 1.30pm. All students who have school transport will be collected and will depart at 1.30pm. Students who travel on the Arriva 16 bus route may remain in school until 3.00pm. Please contact Mrs Ricketts (Attendance Officer), as soon as possible, if you wish your child to be supervised in school until the public service bus arrives.
Students will have had the opportunity to have their lunch early on this day.
Staff will be attending the funeral and so will be unavailable from 1.30pm and the school will be closed to students.
Thank you for your support in this matter and for your kind words of condolence through what has been a difficult period for colleagues in school.
Yours faithfully
Mr A McNaughton
