Travel 2 Learn is a scheme which enables students from Years 10 & 11 study their chosen course in college with work place training providers or employers. Students can work towards a range of qualifications from BTEC to Young Apprenticeships. Courses that can be studied through Travel 2 Learn are motor vehicle and related studies, beauty therapy, hairdressing, sports management, leadership and coaching, construction and engineering.

 

Charlton is one of ten secondary schools in the borough that has signed up to the scheme and students attend the placements one or two days a week. They also study key curriculum subjects in school for the rest of the week. We currently have 37 students taking part in the scheme.
